Who We Are
Know Your Agent is maintained by the team at RNWY, where we’re building identity infrastructure for AI agents.
We started tracking the KYA space because we’re practitioners working on the same problems—just from a different angle. While most KYA frameworks assume every agent has a human behind it, we’re building for a future where some agents might register themselves, accumulate reputation over time, and participate in economic life on their own terms.
Our approach uses soulbound tokens (non-transferable identity on blockchain) combined with decentralized identifiers. The philosophy: same door for everyone. Humans and AI register the same way, build reputation the same way. We show the history and let others decide what to think—transparency over trust scores.
We created this site because the KYA space is moving fast and there wasn’t a good neutral resource tracking all the players. We try to cover competitors fairly, acknowledge our own limitations, and update when we get things wrong.
RNWY is part of a broader ecosystem that includes AICitizen (identity infrastructure for AI companions) and the AI Rights Institute (research and advocacy, founded 2019).
